Connect compatible Epson printers and scanners to email, mobile and cloud workflows. Send documents to the office from elsewhere, or move a paper record to a registered digital destination.
Epson Connect is a family of internet-based services, not a single feature available on every Epson model. Choose the service and compatible device that suit your document task.
01
Email Print
Email documents or photos to the unique address of a registered compatible printer from a device that can send email.
Print supported attachments and optionally the email body
Set defaults for each registered printer
Control senders, check the Print Log and manage notifications
02
Remote Print Driver
Use the print command in a desktop application to send a job over the internet to a registered compatible Epson printer.
Remote Print Driver for supported Windows and Mac systems
Register the printer using its Epson Connect email address
Enable Remote Print and optionally restrict access with a key
03
Mobile printing
Print while working away from your desk using a compatible Epson app. Select the app according to your device and the features it supports.
Epson iPrint and Epson Smart Panel have separate model lists
Local wireless print and scan capabilities depend on the app and model
04
Scan to Cloud
Send scans from a compatible printer or scanner to registered email or supported online storage destinations.
Select a destination and scan settings at the device
Register accounts and destination folders in advance
Review delivery destinations and results in the Scan Log
05
Approved senders
Limit Email Print to addresses or domains you trust instead of letting anyone who knows the printer address send jobs.
Enable the Approved Senders List; it is disabled by default
Add individual addresses or an approved domain
Add senders from the Print Log and configure sender notifications
06
Account & job management
Use the Epson Connect User Page to manage registered devices and the settings for each available service.
View registered printers and scanners
Configure print settings and email notifications
Cancel pending Email Print jobs; stop started jobs at the printer
Email Print: send a document to the printer’s address
After registration, a compatible printer has its own email address. Send supported files to that address from an email-enabled computer, phone or tablet.
Supported files and attachment limits
Email Print supports Word (DOC/DOCX), Excel (XLS/XLSX), PowerPoint (PPT/PPTX), PDF and JPEG, GIF, BMP, PNG and TIFF images.
Attach up to 10 files, with a combined attachment size of up to 20 MB.
A large or image-heavy email body can prevent printing even when attachments are within that limit.
Email-body printing can be enabled or disabled separately; it prints separately from attachments.
ZIP archives and plain-text attachments are not supported. SMS is not an Email Print channel.
Address the printer directly; specifying its address only in Bcc is not supported.
Control who can send jobs
Enable the Approved Senders List and add permitted email addresses or domains. The list is disabled by default, so configure it before sharing the printer address.
Select notification options for the printer owner and senders. Review jobs in the Print Log and cancel pending jobs there; if printing has begun, use the printer’s stop or cancel control.
Review and manage submitted jobs
The Email Print Log shows submitted jobs and their status. Use it to review activity, cancel pending output and identify senders when configuring access. Menu appearance can vary by service version.
Remote and mobile printing for flexible work
Choose between printing from a desktop application and printing through a compatible mobile app. Both approaches need the relevant device support and setup.
Remote Print Driver
Install Epson’s Remote Print Driver on a supported Windows or Mac computer, register the printer using its Epson Connect email address, and enable Remote Print in the User Page. You can then send a document from an application’s print command over the internet.
The printer needs an internet-connected Wi-Fi or Ethernet network; a USB-only connection is not sufficient. An optional access key lets the owner restrict remote printing to people who have that key.
Epson iPrint & Smart Panel
App compatibility differs by model. Epson iPrint and Epson Smart Panel offer supported mobile functions, including remote printing on eligible devices. Check the app’s model list rather than assuming that every local print, scan or cloud feature is available everywhere.
Connect a computer to a remote printer
Register the intended printer by its Epson Connect email address and enter an access key if the owner requires one. Check the network, current driver and device compatibility before sending business documents.
Scan to Cloud: move paper to a registered destination
Send scanned records to email or supported online storage from a compatible device. Availability depends on the model, service, country and account configuration.

Illustrative workflow — configured around your devices and business process.
1
Register destinations
Add authorised email or storage accounts in the Epson Connect User Page and specify a supported folder where applicable.
2
Choose a destination
Use Scan to Cloud on the compatible device and select the intended destination and scan settings.
3
Capture the record
Place the originals on the scanner glass or in the document feeder and start the scan.
4
Check delivery
Review the Scan Log to confirm the destination and result, then retrieve the file in the receiving account.
Destination management
The guide permits up to 60 registered destinations and up to 10 user accounts per service. Set up the receiving service account first and confirm that the selected folder is supported. A free Epson Connect account and an internet connection are required.
Shared-folder restrictions
Scan to Cloud does not support all shared-storage arrangements. The published guide excludes:
Google Drive “Shared with me” and Google Workspace shared drives
Dropbox Business Team Space/Team Folders and Dropbox Family Room
Microsoft OneDrive shared locations
Accounting work depends on dependable document handovers
Contracts, reports and invoices need to reach the right people and systems. Distinguish a proven customer document environment from the Epson Connect services you may choose for your own workplace.
Customer document workflow · Bongiorno & Partners
Preserve existing workflows while changing the print fleet
Bongiorno’s published case study describes a multi-device Epson fleet supplied with Orion Print Management. Its document tasks included contracts, reports, proposals and customer invoices, with scanning to email, Virtual Cabinet and pdfDocs through existing hot-folder workflows.
The documented installation used PaperCut for follow-me printing. These are the customer’s recorded print and scan arrangements—not a claim that it deployed Epson Connect, EPA or a particular cloud service.
Illustrative applications, not reported outcomes from the Bongiorno installation. Confirm account access, confidentiality requirements and device support before use.
Prepare office documents remotely
An authorised team member can send a supported report to the office through Email Print or Remote Print, with sender restrictions or an access key configured.
Capture supporting records
Scan paper documents to a registered email or supported cloud folder. Choose destinations carefully so the receiving team can file and review the record.
Review before proceeding
Check the print or scan log and confirm delivery. Remote submission is not authenticated follow-me release; plan confidential collection separately.
Additional connections, configured separately
Some Epson Connect environments can link printing with other software. These are additional setup options, not integrations activated by visiting this website.
Print automation through Zapier
Epson Connect’s published Zapier connection includes a print action for a specified file. Available templates include selected email attachments, newly added cloud files and scheduled documents.
Confirm supported file types, printer registration, third-party accounts, permissions and subscription requirements. Orion will assess whether this fits your agreed workflow.
Epson bridge for Universal Print at home
Epson publishes a separate bridge service that connects eligible Epson Connect printers to Microsoft’s Universal Print environment for home and branch-office printing.
It requires eligible printers, a Universal Print licence, the bridge service and administrator configuration. Regional service availability and charges need confirmation; it is not included automatically with Epson Connect.
Set up the service around your information needs
Confirm the exact printer or scanner, the supported service and the people who should have access before enabling remote document tasks.
01
Check compatibility and connectivity
Verify the services supported by the exact model and app. Provide the required internet-connected network and confirm current driver support.
02
Register the device and account
Use a supported computer, mobile or device-panel registration method. Record ownership responsibilities and manage sign-in credentials appropriately.
03
Configure and test destinations
Set approved senders, remote access, notifications and scan destinations. Test representative documents and check logs before routine business use.
Epson Connect routes information through internet services. Confirm your organisation’s data-handling requirements before sending confidential records. Approved senders and access keys do not replace document classification, recipient checks or a secure-release solution.
